How to buy EEDC token online (step by step)
Buy EEDC tokens online for Enugu, Anambra, Imo, Abia (excluding Aba) and Ebonyi. Validate your meter and vend your Enugu Electric prepaid token correctly.
Coverage area
Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) serves Enugu, Anambra, Imo, Ebonyi, and most of Abia State — with the notable exception of Aba town, which runs on its own separate market through Aba Power. Confirming which of these applies to your customer avoids a wasted purchase.
Validate the meter
Enter the meter number on VendPower and review the name pulled up by validation before paying. This step is what protects both you and the customer from a misdirected token.
Buying and receiving the token
Pick an amount and confirm payment from your wallet. EEDC tokens are usually generated within seconds; allow a short window during busier periods before assuming a delay is an error.
Loading it on the meter
Key in the token exactly as displayed, in the correct sequence, and watch for the meter's confirmation prompt.
If you're not sure it's EEDC
If your customer is specifically in Aba town, don't select EEDC — that area is covered separately by Aba Power (APLE). For everywhere else across Enugu, Anambra, Imo, Ebonyi, and the rest of Abia, EEDC is the correct choice.
